Howdy and welcome to Free Android Apps, well as you can see I'm just getting this site up and running, but in the coming weeks I shall be trawling the net for you lucky Android lovers to discover the best sites for Free Android Apps, cos we all lurve the freebies and if you have a device like my silly M001, then you may be in the same situation as me and can't download anything from the Android Market, but never mind as me and my trusty PC will do all the work for you and review all them sites just waiting for you to visit them.

Free Android Ware is a download portal for Apps. It has all the regular categories, such as games, themes, applications and wallpapers. Can't fault this site as it has images and a description for the apps, it also lists models which are compatible with the app, which is a great feature as I hate taking the effort to download and install it just for it not to work.

It has a great collection of wallpapers on the site, especially for all you boys, lots of ladies to put on your screen. A favourite game of mine which is available to download is BIstro Cook, reminds me of Cooking Mama.

Phoload is a community based site which enables developers to join and upload, which is great as you get original games straight from the developers. As the site is relatively new it only has a handful of downloads for Android at the moment, however it has lots of categories to search in including Social Networking, Health and Lifestyle and of course Games. This is one site I will be keeping my eye on.

Appolicious Android Apps is more than just an App download site it has its own community where once registered users can share Apps with other users. It has the usual categories such as Games and Education, but what is great about this site is that users can get recommendations based on the apps which they have previously installed and also what kind of Apps they are interested in.

Not all the Apps are free on this site, as it has a mix of free and payable ones. It's easy to search for the free apps though, just make sure you tick the free check box next to the search bar.

Freeware lovers is an easy to use site with plenty of categories for free app lovers including communications, entertainment, finance, games, health, multimedia, productivity, reference, shopping, sports, system and lastly travel, phew what a list.

Although the site is lacking in creativity design wise, don't let this put you off, they have some great apps, a few which I would highly recommend are the FishFood App, a game which is similar in concept to Feeding Frenzy where you have to eat the other fish to grow, another favorite of mine is the Last FM App.

The Get Android Stuff site is one of the best sites I've come across, its crammed full of content. Categories include applications, games, themes, customization, tips and tricks and the latest news.

This is a really well designed site, navigation is easy, making searching for content no problem. I don't know about you, but when I want to download an App I want to see a picture of it, come on show us the pretty pictures designers. I suppose I'm more likely to want something if I see what it looks like first. Maybe it's just because I'm female, I like to see pretty things, so just blame the genes ok. Well if you are like me, then you're in luck with this site, it has pictures galore, yeah for pics.

You cannot go to this site without downloading two of the best games out there, well in my opinion anyway. The first one is Parking Breakdown, this is a puzzle game which gets harder the more you play it. The object of the game is to get your car out of the car park, may sound easy but there are lots of other vehicels in your way which first have to be moved. It's a simple slide and move game but I loves it. The next game is very addictive and has some great sound effects and I can't stop playing it, it's called Tap 'n' Feed. The object of the game is to feed the animals the correct food and collect the balls to win the level.

Android Freeware has 141 pages of Apps, well I think I would say that's ample for anybody. Categories include games, utilities and enhancements. No navigation buttons for this site, but it does have a great search function, just type in what you want and hey presto you got them.

Some good quality descriptions of the apps on this site and also large images which is great for knowing what you're getting before the actual download.

Some great apps on the site too, I've recently downloaded Mobile Andrio, it's in the style of them retro games we all know and love (or hate cos it's too hard) and have played to the death, the one and only Super Mario.

Don't forget to click the Facebook like button if you like the site, go on give the site a thumbs up, it's got free stuff for you, gotta like it.

Download Android is one of those sites that you have to keep returning to, not only does it have the categories which you need such as games and utilities, but it is also full of details of the Apps available to download and gets a big thumbs up from me.

Lots of images on this site too of the Apps, which is just great for seeing exactly what the App will look like once installed.

One of the things I like most about this site is that it has a review section with plenty of information on the Apps available on the market and I don't mean a little paragraph of information, I mean in-depth such as ease of use, pros and cons and usefulness, brilliant.

A favorite game of mine on this site is a little game called Traffic Rush, the object of the game is to keep the traffic moving, it's not as easy as it sounds.

SlateDroid is the biggest Android Tablet Forum available for your viewing pleasure on the web. Not only does it have the usual Android Apps such as games and utilities but it also has numerous custom and official firmware available for users to download, such as for the Eken M001 or even Android Laptop, but of course always install tthese types of files at your own risk, especially if you're not technical minded.
